Rosé Dos Vilões

Rosé Dos Vilões is a unique collaboration between acclaimed Portuguese winemaker António Maçanita and restaurateur Nuno Faria. Grown on the dramatic volcanic slopes of Madeira, this wine is crafted from Tinta Negra, the island's signature grape variety. The name 'Vilões' (villains) historically refers to the inhabitants of Madeira living outside the capital of Funchal. This project highlights the extreme Atlantic influence and volcanic soils that define Madeira's emerging still table wines.
