ABOUT THIS WINE
Claus Preisinger is a pioneering force in Austria's biodynamic wine movement, based on the north-and-east shores of Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland. Operating with a deep respect for nature, Preisinger was the youngest winemaker accepted into the prestigious Pannobile association. Rózsa Libre! is a playful, energetic tribute to freedom and low-intervention winemaking, bridging the gap between a dark rosé and an ultra-light, glou-glou style red wine. The name itself is a clever pun on the Hungarian word for rose ('Rózsa') and the classic Cuba Libre cocktail.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are sourced from biodynamically certified vineyards planted on sandy, gravelly soils. Harvested entirely by hand, the fruit undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. A portion of the blend undergoes semi-carbonic maceration to emphasize bright, fresh berry aromatics and keep tannin extraction to an absolute minimum. The wine is aged on its fine lees, bottled unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfur, preserving its raw, vibrant, and cloudy character.
