ABOUT THIS WINE
E. Guigal's Saintes Pierres de Nalys is an AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Southern Rhône. The wine originates from three distinct terroirs: Nalys, Bois Sénéchal, and La Crau, with vines averaging 45 years in age. E. Guigal, a family estate established in 1946, acquired Château de Nalys in 2017, continuing its legacy of winemaking in the region. The wine is produced from a blend of traditional Southern Rhône grape varietals, contributing to its complex profile.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for E. Guigal's Saintes Pierres de Nalys involves manual harvesting and sorting. For the white wine, must is clarified before temperature-controlled fermentation at 18°C for about four weeks, followed by 8 months of aging with a portion in wood and malolactic fermentation. The red wine is aged in vat. Yields are kept low at 14 Hl/hectare.
