Salix

Celler Mas Doix was established in 1998 by the Doix and Llagostera families in Poboleda, a cool-climate village in the Priorat region of Catalonia, Spain. The estate is renowned for its old vines planted on steep slate slopes known as llicorella. In 2019, they partnered with Cliff Lede to build a state-of-the-art, gravity-fed winery. The name Salix is Latin for willow, paying homage to the trees along the nearby Siurana River. The 2024 vintage was marked by a severe drought, leading to an early harvest of highly concentrated, expressive fruit.
