WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Satellite Sauvignon Blanc is produced using 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Winemaking involves gentle pressing and cool fermentation, primarily in stainless steel tanks, to maintain vibrant fruit flavors and aromas. A portion of selected blocks are fermented in barrels to add depth. Multiple aromatic yeast blends are employed to enhance the wine's complexity and layered profile. The grapes are harvested in the cool morning from vineyards in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys. Spy Valley Wines practices sustainable viticulture across its estate vineyards.
