WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Orange Arndorfer is produced using a minimal intervention approach. Grapes are hand-harvested and then undergo whole-bunch fermentation on their skins in stainless steel for 10 to 30 days, utilizing native yeasts at ambient temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine is aged in a mix of used barrels, foudres, and smaller barrels for a period that can extend to six months. The winemaking process emphasizes no fining or filtration, and a low sulfite content is maintained, with minimal additions only at bottling. The Arndorfers adhere to certified organic and biodynamic farming practices, focusing on soil health and natural vineyard management.
