WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Semente Avesso Orange is produced by AB Valley Wines using the Avesso grape. The winemaking process involves extended maceration of the grape skins and seeds with the juice during fermentation, a technique known as 'vinho de curtimenta' or orange wine production. This process lasts for approximately 200 days. After maceration, the wine is aged for three months in a steel tank before being bottled. The grapes are sourced from vineyards located in Amarante, characterized by granite and sandy soils.
