WINE MAKING PROCESS
Señorío de los Llanos Reserva is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes. The winemaking process involves fermenting the must at controlled temperatures between 25-28 degrees Celsius. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels. It then undergoes a further two years of aging in the bottle before release. The wine also benefits from malolactic conversion. This extended aging process is a key requirement for the 'Reserva' designation in Spain, particularly within the Valdepeñas appellation, where wines must also be aged at the producer's facility.
