ABOUT THIS WINE
Crafted by the visionary winemaker Victoria Torres Pecis on the volcanic island of La Palma, 'Dialéctica de los Opuestos' (The Dialectic of Opposites) is a conceptual, experimental white wine. Born under the 'Sin Título' (Untitled) label, this project represents a space for research and cellar exploration. This unique bottling unites two contrasting terroirs, altitudes, and vintages: the high-altitude, cool-climate Albillo Criollo from the north (2022 harvest) and the warm, low-altitude Listán Blanco from the south (2023 harvest). Victoria represents the fifth generation of her family's winemaking lineage, championing extreme minimalism and the preservation of ancient, ungrafted vines on steep volcanic slopes.

The wine is a blend of two different vintages (2022 and 2023) because the 2022 Albillo took nearly a year to finish fermenting.
Fact 02
Vines are grown ungrafted in extreme volcanic soils, with some Listán Blanco trained low to the ground using traditional wooden forks.
Fact 03
The name 'Dialéctica de los Opuestos' refers to the balancing of opposites: northern vs. southern terroirs and high vs. low altitudes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This multi-vintage blend combines Albillo Criollo from 2022 and Listán Blanco from 2023. The Albillo Criollo was harvested from Garafía at 1,200–1,400 meters, while the Listán Blanco came from 80-year-old vines in Fuencaliente. Grapes were hand-harvested and vinified separately. Spontaneous fermentation occurred with indigenous yeasts in concrete tanks and stainless steel without temperature control. The 2022 Albillo fermented extremely slowly over nearly a year in concrete before being blended with the fresh 2023 Listán Blanco. The wine matured on its fine lees in concrete, stainless steel, and neutral wooden vats, and was bottled unfined and unfiltered in mid-2024.
