WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for the Sixth Sense Syrah, consisting of a blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah, are harvested from old vines planted in deep, well-draining Tokay sandy loam soils. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in a carefully selected barrel program. The oak profile consists of 58% French oak (with 24% new oak), 37% neutral oak, and 5% American oak. This extensive aging process helps to integrate the bold tannins of the Petite Sirah and the rich fruit of the Syrah, resulting in a structured and polished final blend.
