ABOUT THIS WINE
So Vignerons represents a modern, collaborative approach to Languedoc viticulture. Founded in 2005 by Daniel Orsolini and winemaker Claude Serra, an oenology professor at Montpellier University, the boutique project crafts elegant, fresh, single-varietal wines. By securing long-term contracts with local family growers and implementing rigorous block-by-block selection, they produce highly approachable wines that capture authentic regional terroir. This Pinot Noir is grown on limestone-dominant soils in the Hérault valley, offering a refreshing, lighter-bodied alternative to the dense, warm-climate blends typically found in southern France.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process is designed to preserve the delicate, fresh fruit profile of Pinot Noir. Grapes are sourced from vineyards managed under the French HVE3 environmental charter. The juice undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to maintain primary fruit purity. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for four to six months before final blending. To add subtle complexity and structure without overpowering the fruit, 20% of the wine is aged in oak barrels, while the remaining 80% completes its aging in stainless steel tanks.
