ABOUT THIS WINE
Azienda Agricola Le Battistelle was established in 2002 by Gelmino and Cristina Dal Bosco in Brognoligo di Monteforte d'Alpone. Previously, the family supplied grapes to local cooperatives, but Gelmino chose to estate-bottle his yield to celebrate the unique volcanic slopes of his family's vineyards. The estate is situated in the heart of the historic Soave Classico zone, where steep terraced slopes demand dedicated manual vineyard management. Today, the family continues to manage these prized hillside plots together, maintaining a strong connection to local tradition and heritage.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Grapes are harvested entirely by hand from south-facing terraced slopes. After gentle soft pressing of whole clusters, the must undergoes immediate temperature reduction before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15-18°C for 15 to 20 days. Malolactic fermentation is strictly prevented to retain lively fresh character. The wine matures on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 3 to 4 months with regular stirring, followed by 1 to 2 months of bottle conditioning prior to release.
