WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Solaris Vingården i Klagshamn 2021 SE is produced using 100% Solaris grapes. Following a hand harvest, the grapes undergo an extended skin maceration period of 45 days. Fermentation is spontaneous, utilizing indigenous yeasts, and takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for 12 months in stainless steel, followed by an additional 7 months on fine lees after assemblage. Lees stirring (battonage) was performed twice during the aging process.
