ABOUT THIS WINE
The Solveig 2020 is a red wine from the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, produced by S.C. Laronde Desormes. The wine is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate is located in the Haut-Médoc region, near the Margaux appellation, benefiting from similar environmental conditions. The wine is named 'Solveig' in tribute to the granddaughter of the estate's owner, and this particular cuvée was created as a special edition for the Swedish market, celebrating a connection to Sweden. The producer, Emmanuel Desbrest, focuses on quality by managing low yields from the estate's vines.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Solveig 2020 is produced from a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Following harvest, the wine undergoes fermentation. It is then aged for six months in stainless steel tanks. The winery intentionally limits production volume from its vines to focus on quality.
