WINE MAKING PROCESS
Gaja Sorì San Lorenzo Barbaresco DOCG is produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. Following harvest, the grapes undergo a classic fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks for about three weeks. The wine is then aged for 24 months, with the first 12 months in barriques and the subsequent 12 months in large oak barrels. The 2021 vintage experienced a spring frost, leading to reduced yields but contributing to concentrated wines.
