WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for the Spier Signature Sauvignon Blanc Sémillon begins with machine-harvested grapes, picked in the early morning. The grapes are then gently pressed, and the selected juice undergoes fermentation in stainless-steel tanks under controlled temperatures. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for a few months on its lees (sur lie) to enhance complexity and texture. Finally, the wine is clarified and bottled.
