The Cantina Terlan St. Magdalener Alto Adige DOC 2021 is a red wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige region of Italy. It is primarily made from the Schiava grape, with a small addition of Lagrein. The St. Magdalener appellation is located on the sunniest hills north of Bozen, characterized by clay, limestone, and volcanic porphyry soils. Cantina Terlan, the producer, is one of the oldest wine cooperatives in South Tyrol, established in 1893, and follows a philosophy of allowing wines to mature. WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Cantina Terlan St. Magdalener 2021 is produced using grapes harvested by hand. Fermentation occurs in large wooden vats under controlled temperatures.
