ABOUT THIS WINE
Stoneleigh Pinot Noir Rosé originates from the Wairau Valley in Marlborough, New Zealand. The vineyards are characterized by deep, infertile gravel beds covered in smooth 'sunstones' that absorb and radiate solar heat, aiding grape ripening. Stoneleigh Vineyards practices minimal intervention winemaking, aiming to reflect the natural qualities of the Pinot Noir grapes and the distinctive Marlborough terroir. The winery is owned by Pernod Ricard.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Stoneleigh Pinot Noir Rosé is produced from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Following harvest, the grapes are crushed and pressed. The resulting must is settled before undergoing fermentation at cool temperatures with the addition of aromatic yeasts, a technique chosen to amplify the Pinot Noir's characteristic aromas. The winemaking process adheres to a philosophy of minimal intervention, aiming to capture the essence of the fruit and the Marlborough region.
