WINE MAKING PROCESS
The 2019 Submission Cabernet Sauvignon is a carefully crafted blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, and 6% Merlot. The grapes are sourced from selected vineyards in Sonoma, Napa, Lodi, and Mendocino counties, allowing the winemakers to achieve optimal balance and consistency. Following a warm and dry summer that allowed the grapes to reach perfect phenolic ripeness, the fruit was harvested and destemmed. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to preserve the vibrant primary fruit characteristics. The wine was then aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, with 30% new oak, to integrate structured tannins and impart complex oak notes.
