ABOUT THIS WINE
Susucaru Rosso is the legendary entry-level red wine from Frank Cornelissen, a pioneer of the natural wine movement on Mount Etna. Located in Castiglione di Sicilia on the northern slopes of the active volcano, Cornelissen's estate avoids all systemic treatments, chemicals, and additives. This wine represents his vision of a traditional, field-blend table wine of the region, capturing the wild, high-altitude energy and unique volcanic soils of Etna without manipulation.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude vineyards. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in neutral epoxy-coated fiberglass tanks to preserve the pure expression of the fruit and volcanic terroir. The wine undergoes skin contact for approximately 10 days. It is bottled without fining, filtration, or any added sulfur dioxide, ensuring a living, raw representation of the vintage.
