WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Tancredi involves fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a maceration period of about 14 days at temperatures between 28°-30°C. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes aging for 12 months in oak barrels, which may include new barriques. It is then aged for a minimum of 2 to 3 years in the bottle before release. The harvest typically begins in early September, with Nero d'Avola and Tannat picked before Cabernet Sauvignon.
