ABOUT THIS WINE
The Tano Rosso del Veronese is an IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) red wine from the Veneto region of Italy, specifically the province of Verona. Produced by Le Guaite di Noemi, a family-run estate, this wine is crafted from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone grapes. The winery is situated in the eastern Valpolicella area, in the Mezzane valley, at an altitude of 450-500 meters. The vineyard soils are a distinctive mix of limestone, calcareous, basaltic, and volcanic rock. Le Guaite di Noemi follows a philosophy of patient and meticulous aging to develop complex wines, and the Tano Rosso del Veronese is noted for its freshness and minerality derived from its unique terroir.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Tano Rosso del Veronese is produced using temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with cultured yeasts. Malolactic fermentation is also employed. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes an extended aging process, a core philosophy of the producer, Le Guaite di Noemi, which is believed to contribute to the wine's complexity and full expression. Grapes are typically harvested in September or early October. The producer's approach combines innovation with respect for tradition, focusing on vineyard care and patient development of the wine.
