WINE MAKING PROCESS
Taylor's Vintage Port 2009 is a fortified red wine made from a blend of traditional Portuguese grape varieties grown in the Douro Valley. The grapes are fermented, and the fermentation is stopped by the addition of grape spirit, a process known as fortification. The wine is then matured for two years in oak vats before being bottled. Vintage Ports are intended for long-term aging in the bottle, developing complexity over decades.
