ABOUT THIS WINE
Frontonio Telescópico 2021 is a red wine from the Vino de la Tierra Valdejalón appellation in Aragón, Spain. It is crafted by Bodegas Frontonio, founded by Master of Wine Fernando Mora and oenologist Mario López. The wine originates from organically cultivated, old-vine Garnacha, Garnacha Peluda, and Mazuela grapes grown at altitudes between 480 and 600 meters on diverse soils. The producer's philosophy centers on minimal intervention and plot-by-plot vinification to express the authentic character of the Valdejalón region and its ancient vines.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Frontonio Telescópico 2021 is produced using grapes from old vines, with a significant portion of whole clusters (around 80%) included in the spontaneous fermentation process. This fermentation occurs in open concrete vats with indigenous yeasts. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 13 months in large oval foudres (2500L) and 500L barrels. The winemaking approach is characterized by minimal intervention, with a focus on plot-by-plot vinification.
