ABOUT THIS WINE
Tenuta Carobbio Chianti Classico 2018 is a 100% Sangiovese from the Chianti Classico DOCG region in Tuscany. The estate, Tenuta Carobbio, has a history dating back to the 15th century and is situated in Panzano's Golden Valley. WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process begins with hand-harvested Sangiovese grapes in early October. Fermentation takes place over 10 days in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a 15-day maceration period. The wine is then aged for 18 months in Slavonian Oak barrels, with an additional 6 months of refinement in the bottle. The vineyards are organically farmed and certified.
