ABOUT THIS WINE
Tenute Lunelli Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino 2019 is a 100% Sagrantino wine from the Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG appellation in Umbria, Italy. The Lunelli family, known for their Ferrari sparkling wine, established Tenute Lunelli to focus on still wines. Their Umbrian estate features the distinctive Carapace winery, designed by Arnaldo Pomodoro, which symbolizes their connection to the land. This wine represents the powerful character of the Sagrantino grape, cultivated in vineyards with clay-silt soil that resists drought.
