ABOUT THIS WINE
David Arthur Vineyards, located on the high-elevation slopes of Pritchard Hill in Napa Valley, was founded by David Arthur Long in 1985. The Three Acre Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from a specific, meticulously farmed three-acre parcel on the estate. This vineyard block benefits from volcanic soils, excellent sun exposure, and cooling breezes from the San Pablo Bay, producing grapes with exceptional concentration and structure. The 2016 vintage in Napa Valley is widely regarded as legendary, characterized by a long, cool growing season that allowed for perfect phenolic ripeness and balanced acidity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes were hand-harvested at optimal ripeness and carefully sorted. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with regular pump-overs to extract color, flavor, and fine tannins. The wine was then aged for approximately 20 to 22 months in French oak barrels to integrate the structural components and add complexity before bottling.
