The wine is named in honor of José Ángel de la Peña, the founder's uncle, who was instrumental in developing this pale, dry style of sherry. Tío Pepe is recognized as the world's best-selling Fino Sherry and is celebrated for its consistent quality and classic character. It is made from 100% Palomino Fino grapes and is aged using the traditional Solera system for a minimum of 4-5 years under a protective layer of 'flor' yeast in American oak barrels.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Tío Pepe Fino is made from 100% Palomino Fino grapes. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged using the traditional Solera system for a minimum of 4-5 years in American oak barrels. During this aging process, the wine is protected by a layer of 'flor', a natural yeast that prevents oxidation and contributes to its characteristic dry profile. 'En Rama' versions are bottled with minimal intervention, unfiltered and unfined, directly from the cask.
