WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Tommasi Le Fornaci Lugana involves fermenting the Turbiana grapes with one day of skin contact at low temperatures. Fermentation is carried out slowly in stainless steel tanks at 14-18°C. Following fermentation, the wine rests for three months on its lees in stainless steel. The grapes are sourced from two vineyard sites, Le Fornaci and San Martino, contributing different soil influences to the final wine.
