ABOUT THIS WINE
Tradición Fino is a non-vintage Fino Sherry from Bodegas Tradición, a producer founded in 1998 by Joaquín Rivero Valcarce, whose family has a long history in the sherry industry. The wine is made from 100% Palomino Fino grapes grown in the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry region of Andalusia, Spain, known for its Albariza soils. What sets this Fino apart is its extended aging period of around 12 years under the protective veil of flor yeast, a practice that contributes to its depth and complexity. Bodegas Tradición's philosophy emphasizes preserving traditional sherry production methods, focusing on pure, unblended, and unfiltered wines.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Tradición Fino is produced from 100% Palomino Fino grapes. Following fermentation, the base wine is fortified to around 15.5% ABV to foster the growth of flor yeast. The wine then ages in American oak barrels using the solera and criaderas system. A defining characteristic of this Fino is its extended aging period under flor, which typically lasts for about 12 years. Bodegas Tradición adheres to traditional winemaking practices, aiming to produce unblended, unfiltered, and additive-free Sherries.
