ABOUT THIS WINE
Bodegas Trapiche is a historic estate founded in 1883 in Mendoza, Argentina. Known as a pioneer of Argentine viticulture, the winery has spent over a century exploring the diverse terroirs of the region. The Reserve range showcases the unique character of high-altitude vineyards situated at elevations between 750 and 1,100 meters above sea level, nestled in the rain shadow of the Andes Mountains. These sites benefit from intense sunlight and significant diurnal temperature shifts, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and fully.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for this single-varietal wine begins with hand-harvesting and strict sorting of the grapes to ensure only the highest quality fruit is used. After complete destemming, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by a natural, controlled malolactic fermentation to soften the wine's texture. Finally, the wine is aged for nine months in a combination of French and American oak barrels before bottling.
