ABOUT THIS WINE
TRBLMKR is a white wine from Moravia, Czech Republic, produced by Milan Nestarec. Primarily made from the Neuburger grape, with occasional additions like Malvasia in certain vintages, it is a certified organic wine. Nestarec views this wine as a personal mission to reveal the true identity of Neuburger, a grape he believes is historically important but often overlooked. He considers the wine to be a direct reflection of himself, stating he uses it in place of business cards. The grapes are sourced from the 'Slovenské' vineyard in Moravský Žižkov, a key location within Nestarec's estate. TRBLMKR is part of Nestarec's 'White Labels' series, which are crafted from the best micro-locations and oldest vines, intended to be a pure expression of place and built for longevity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
TRBLMKR is produced using low-intervention methods. Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed. For the 2021 vintage, semi-carbonic maceration was employed for seven days, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged for approximately two years on its fine lees in large, old 3000-liter oak foudres from Stockinger. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with a minimal addition of sulfur at bottling for the 2019 vintage. The vineyards are certified organic, with no herbicides, pesticides, or systemic treatments used, and all grapes are hand-picked.
