ABOUT THIS WINE

The winery is deeply committed to preserving regional traditions, utilizing the classic 'alberello pugliese' (bush vine) training system. 'Trefilari' (meaning 'three rows') represents a selection of Primitivo grapes grown on old vines in clay-limestone soils under the warm Mediterranean sun, producing a wine that captures the authentic spirit and warmth of Puglia.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Primitivo grapes are harvested manually in early September to ensure optimal ripeness. Upon arrival at the winery, they undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with extended skin contact to extract rich color and soft tannins. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in French oak barriques to develop complexity, roundness, and integrated oak characteristics before bottling.
