ABOUT THIS WINE
Azienda Agricola Valentini is one of Italy's most legendary and secretive wine estates, located in the Abruzzo region. Under the guidance of Francesco Paolo Valentini, the estate continues a multi-generational tradition of producing artisanal wines of unparalleled complexity and longevity. Valentini rejects modern industrial winemaking, focusing instead on the unique terroir of Loreto Aprutino and the preservation of the indigenous Trebbiano Abruzzese clone, trained in the traditional pergola system.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process at Valentini is famously minimalist and traditional. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using only wild, indigenous yeasts in large, ancient Slavonian oak botti. There is no temperature control, no artificial clarification, and no filtration. The wine is aged for an extended period in these neutral oak casks, allowing it to develop its signature texture and complex character naturally before bottling.
