ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine Amélie Guillot is a small, highly respected estate in the Jura region, established by Amélie Guillot in 1995. Based in the historic town of Arbois, she single-handedly manages a tiny holding of around 3.5 hectares of vines. The "En Tartot" lieu-dit is characterized by its heavy clay and limestone soils, which provide the perfect warm microclimate for the late-ripening Trousseau grape. Guillot is celebrated for her traditional, low-intervention approach, preserving the authentic, rustic character of classic Jura wines.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for "En Tartot" are harvested entirely by hand to ensure optimal selection. In the cellar, the fruit is destemmed and undergoes fermentation using only indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged in neutral oak barrels and older foudres to preserve the bright primary fruit and mineral expression of the terroir. Bottling is completed with minimal sulfur additions, and the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered to maintain its natural texture and complexity.
