ABOUT THIS WINE
Tsinandali is one of Georgia's most historic and celebrated white wine appellations, located within the Kakheti region on the left bank of the Alazani River. Produced by Marani (Telavi Wine Cellar), which was founded in 1915, this wine represents a classic European-style Georgian white. The Tsinandali micro-zone benefits from alluvial and clay-carbonate soils, creating an ideal terroir for cultivating indigenous grape varieties. This estate-bottled expression showcases the harmony between Georgia's ancient viticultural heritage and modern winemaking standards.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes, consisting of Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane, are hand-harvested at optimum ripeness from the estate's vineyards in the Tsinandali micro-zone. Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes are gently de-stemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh, vibrant primary fruit characteristics of the varieties. A small portion of the blend is typically aged in oak barrels for several months to add subtle structure and complexity, before being blended back and bottled.
