Márcio Lopes is celebrated for his ability to express terroir with minimal intervention, and this project highlights the vibrant, mineral-driven character of the Minho region. WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes—Alvarinho, Loureiro, and Trajadura—are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve their natural acidity. Upon arrival at the winery, they undergo gentle pressing followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This classic Vinho Verde vinification method avoids oak contact to emphasize the pure, vibrant fruit characteristics and mineral drive of the varieties. The wine is aged on its fine lees for a short period to add subtle texture and complexity before bottling.
