WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Vazisubani Kakhetian Mtsvane Qvevri Unfiltered 2018 is produced using the traditional Georgian Qvevri method. Kakhuri Mtsvane grapes are fermented in large, egg-shaped terracotta vessels buried underground. This process includes maceration with grape skins, seeds, and stems, utilizing natural yeasts. The wine undergoes aging in these Qvevri vessels on its skins and lees. Following aging, the wine is bottled unfiltered. The vineyards are managed using organic farming practices and dry farming techniques. Vazisubani Estate Ltd aims to blend these traditional methods with modern technology.
