ABOUT THIS WINE
Valle Reale Vigneto Sant'Eusanio 2018 is a 100% Montepulciano from the Abruzzo region of Italy, produced by Valle Reale. The Pizzolo family established Valle Reale in 2000 with the aim of crafting world-class wines that highlight the Montepulciano varietal. The winery is situated within a national park, benefiting from a microclimate with notable diurnal temperature variations. Valle Reale practices organic and biodynamic farming and utilizes indigenous yeasts for fermentation, adhering to a philosophy of minimal intervention to allow the land's character to shape the wine. The Vigneto Sant'Eusanio vineyard is located at an elevation of 600 meters and features stony soils rich in limestone with a base of clay and sand. The vineyard faces south-east, and vines were planted in 2000, with grapes hand-harvested in October.

Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at temperatures ranging from 24-26°C (75-79°F), with indigenous yeasts.
