WINE MAKING PROCESS
Viña Ardanza Reserva is produced using a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. The wine undergoes a lengthy aging period, with Tempranillo aged for up to 36 months and Garnacha for 30 months in American oak barrels. The barrels are crafted in the producer's own cooperage. Following aging, the wine is subjected to six rackings and then spends an additional four and a half years aging in the bottle before its release. The 2017 vintage was marked by low yields, contributing to the wine's structure.
