WINE MAKING PROCESS
Artadi Viñas de Gain undergoes fermentation in stainless steel open vats for 10-12 days, preceded by a 24-48 hour cold maceration. Cap management and pumping over are employed during fermentation. A portion of the grapes are fermented with whole clusters. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with 40% new oak, and undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrel. The producer, Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi, practices certified organic viticulture, emphasizing respect for the environment and avoiding synthetic pesticides and herbicides.
