WINE MAKING PROCESS
The production of Casa de Santar Vinha dos Amores Encruzado 2019 involves a short maceration period followed by alcoholic fermentation at 16°C in new French oak barrels with a light toast. The wine is then aged for 12 months in these new oak barrels. Subsequently, it spends 3 months on fine lees with regular agitation (bâtonnage), followed by an additional 6 months of bottle aging before release.
