ABOUT THIS WINE
Vintry's Royal Cream is a sweet Sherry from the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry region of Andalusia, Spain, produced by José Estévez. This non-vintage fortified wine is primarily made from Pedro Ximénez grapes. Its distinctive sweetness is achieved through the addition of a sweet Pedro Ximénez wine to the blend. The wine undergoes oxidative aging in American oak barrels using the Solera system, with an average age of 5 years in the blend. Vintry's is a brand produced by Anora Sweden, and this Royal Cream is positioned as a well-priced, typical example of a sweet Sherry.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Vintry's Royal Cream begins with the fermentation of white wine grapes using natural yeast in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is fortified with 96% grape spirit to reach an alcohol by volume of 17.5%. The wine then undergoes oxidative aging in American oak barrels, employing the Solera system. To achieve its characteristic sweetness, 25% of a sweet Pedro Ximénez wine is blended into the final product. The average age of the wine components within the Solera system is 5 years.
