WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Virginie de Valandraud Blanc involves meticulous fruit selection through manual harvesting and multiple passes. Grapes are chilled in a cold room before undergoing a long pressing of approximately 5 hours. Fermentation can take place in barrels or stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine typically ages for 9 months in a combination of barrels (often with limited new oak influence) and/or concrete tanks. This approach aims to preserve the purity and intensity of the fruit while developing complexity.
