WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Scheuermann Weissburgunder Chardonnay Trocken is produced using grapes from vines aged between 10 and 30 years old, grown on soils of sandstone, loess, and limestone. Viticulture is certified Organic and Biodynamic, with hand-harvesting employed. The winemaking process involves spontaneous fermentation, with fermentation occurring in older oak barrels. The wine then undergoes aging for ten months on its own lees, utilizing a combination of barriques and old oak barrels. The residual sugar level is dry.
