WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Allendorf Winkeler Riesling Trocken is produced from 100% Riesling grapes. Following harvest, the grapes are promptly taken to the press house. Fermentation occurs in large oak barrels under controlled temperatures. The wine then undergoes several months of aging in oak barrels before bottling. The specific site for this wine is Winkeler Hasensprung, with vines growing on loam and loess soils.
