ABOUT THIS WINE
Wolf & Woman is an acclaimed boutique project founded by winemaker Jolandie Fouché in the Swartland region of South Africa. The name represents the duality of her personality and her approach to winemaking—strength and elegance. Sourced from old, dry-land bush vines planted in iron-rich and granitic soils, this Chenin Blanc captures the raw energy, mineral tension, and vibrant fruit character that Swartland is globally celebrated for.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested in the cool early morning and whole-bunch pressed to ensure gentle extraction. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with wild yeasts in a combination of old French oak foudres and neutral barrels. The wine is aged on its fine lees for approximately 9 to 10 months without any battonage to preserve freshness and mineral clarity. It is bottled with minimal sulfur addition, unfined, and only lightly filtered.
