ABOUT THIS WINE
Zecci Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Organic 2022 is an organic white wine from the Marche region of Italy, made from 100% Verdicchio grapes. It is produced by Piersanti Vini, a family winery founded in 1955 and located in Cupramontana, considered the heart of the Verdicchio di Jesi region. The winery emphasizes hard work and continuous improvement, aiming for wines with a strong price-quality ratio. The vineyards are situated on slopes with calcareous soil, benefiting from a cooler climate at higher altitudes which supports later harvests and enhanced aromatic development. The 'Classico' designation indicates that the wine originates from the historic production area of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Zecci Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Organic 2022 is produced using hand-harvested Verdicchio grapes. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 14-16°C over 15-18 days. Post-fermentation, the wine undergoes a 4-month aging period on its lees, also in stainless steel. The 'Classico' designation signifies that the grapes originate from the historic production zone of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi.
